Out Innerspace Dance Theatre and Film Society is a non-profit company with a dedicated mandate to further the development of contemporary dance in Vancouver and British Columbia through the creation of innovative and integral dance works. Through multi-media and interdisciplinary work, Out Innerspace aims to encourage a larger audience's appetite and appreciation for dance and related arts. The newly formed Out Innerspace Dance Theatre and Film Society acts as a forum for the ongoing dedication to dance creation, dissemination, education, evolution and presentation. With the integration of film, objectives include effective and accessible distribution and marketing of dance and professional documentation. As well, the integration of film aids in expanding the presentation of visual performance language while adding diversity to the existing dance and film communities.

The long term vision of the society is to develop and maintain an infrastructure to support the company's creative ventures and build a broad interdisciplinary performance language through projects that can include mentorships, collaborations with emerging and established professionals from a multitude of disciplines, touring, site-specific works, and outreach programs. With an artistic policy to primarily support the creative endeavors of dancers/choreographers/educators David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen, Out Innerspace is passionately devoted to its role in the future of contemporary dance in Vancouver and Canada as part of the new and dynamic generation of emerging artists.
